The 2004 Sangiovese has super ripe, high-toned and aromatic notes with a fruit syrup and dark chocolate character to match its bright ruby color. Rich layered tannins create a plush mouth feel. The finish is long and persistent, evoking primary fruits of black cherry and blackberry jam, with a dusty nuance. A dense, powerful, highly concentrated wine with excellent structure and lift.
